As per my knowledge, we can't embed maps on LinkedIn.

In my experience, LinkedIn Pulse does not support the direct embedding of Google Maps in articles. However, you can provide a link to the Google Map location in your article. Here's a simple way to do it:

  1. Go to Google Maps (https://www.google.com/maps) and find the location you want to share.
  2. Click on the share button.
  3. In the pop-up that appears, click on the copy link button.

Now, you can include this link in your LinkedIn Pulse article:

As of my knowledge, LinkedIn doesn't allow us to embed Google Maps in articles. But when you start writing you can see an editor like the following.

From there you will get an area to embed a code. But unfortunatly, the iframe code snippet is not suported for the time being.

For the past 5 months, I have been writing LinkedIn Pulse articles. From my experience, there is currently no option to embed a Google Map directly in LinkedIn Pulse articles. Typically, we would take the iframe code from Google Maps and embed it, but this functionality is not available for LinkedIn Pulse articles.

It is possible that the LinkedIn team will update this feature in the near future. As an alternative, for now, you can include a hyperlink to the map within the article.

LinkedIn Pulse articles currently don't support the feature of embedding Google Map. In your article, you can provide a hyperlink to Google Map, making it easily accessible for readers. The other way is to capture a clear image of the desired location on Google Maps and upload this screenshot to your article. Also include the direct URL of the location on Google Maps within your article.

Hi, usually when I implement a Google map, I go to the particular Google Business Profile of that company/business on the map and copy the HTML snippet and paste it into the code-view mode to get an embedded version of the map.

But LinkedIn does not support this procedure and we have to use different methods such as screenshotting the image and pasting it on the article with the hyperlink-ed address of the business as the caption.

LinkedIn lacks a feature that allows for the embedding of a location map directly on the platform. However, by generating a map on a mapping service like Google Maps, you can add a location map to your LinkedIn profile. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Access Google Maps and type your location into the search bar.

2. To view the map, click on the location marker.

3. Copy the map's URL from the address bar.

4. Log on to LinkedIn and create a fresh post or update your profile.

5. Insert the URL into your post or profile. An automatic link to the map will be created by LinkedIn.

6. Please review your post or profile to ensure that the link is working as expected.

7. Make sure to publish the post or save the updates to your profile.

By following these steps, sharing a link to a map that displays your location on LinkedIn will allow you to do so. Also, you can take a screenshot of the Google map and embed the image in your LinkedIn article.

As of my knowledge, LinkedIn Pulse articles do not support the direct embedding of external content such as Google Maps. However, you can provide a link to the Google Map in your article, making it accessible for readers. Otherwise, take a screenshot of the Google Map and insert the Google Map image into the LinkedIn article. To make your content relevant, it is better to add some context to your article to explain why you are sharing the Google Map.

In order to embed Google Map in any web application or pages, you need to first generate the embed script from Google Map. You can go to any Google Map and click on the button to generate the script for embedding.

However, if you want to embed Google Map in LinkedIn pages or articles, unfortunately, LinkedIn does not allow placing the Google Map script in the LinkedIn pages. So, your options are limited to:

1. Make a screenshot of the Google map and embed the Google Map image in LinkedIn article

2. Giv? a link from the LinkedIn article to Google Map

If you are aware of any better options to directly embed Google Map in a LinkedIn article, let me know.

LinkedIn Pulse is one of the outstanding social networking platforms for bringing professionals together from around the world. Posting and sharing the profile or the business account allows you to engage with the community and this allows the audience to share relevant information.

The following steps are required to be followed when embedding the Googlemap on the article at LinkedIn Pulse:-

  1. To embed a Google map on the article, there should be a need to find the business on the map or the business address. When finding your business, click on the direction where you can open the Google map and click on the main menu button ( Three -line icons in the search box)in the upper left corner, then click on to share or embed the map.

  1. To get the embedded map size click on the embed map tab in the pop-up window so that it can be used to adjust the size of the map by selecting the available options or entering the size.

  2. Copy the HTML code from the box and below the preview map.

  1. Open the LinkedIn account pulse and go to the LinkedIn Pulse publishing Platform.

  2.  Click on the article created and place the cursor where you want to embed the HTML code of the location.

  3.  In the LinkedIn Pulse editor, switch to HTML view or open the HTML editor, if available. This allows you to add HTML code directly.

  4. Find the appropriate place in the article where you want to place the Google Maps and paste the HTML code that has been copied from the googlemap.

  5. Preview the article that has embedded the googlemap that appears on it correctly. Once it is fit in the article's appropriate position then publish the article.

Embedding Googlemap to the linked article post provides convenience to the visitors and a greater chance of a conversion. So the readers can interact with the map and view your location on it.
